Same old mindset of the king doling out goodies on his birthday. It would be more indicative of the policies, if the less privileged could be visited on their birthdays. It just shows how less the media bothers about realities. And,why?Because,if they'd shown those links,then,the emotional effect of saying that the former President never celebrated his bday thusly, would have gone. And, frankly,I was surprised,coz I remember at least two news tidbits, where Mr. Abdul Kalam celebrated his birthday with the less fortunate.(I always say hats off,to this wise gentleman).
