It also reminds me of an Uncle of mine,who demonstrated that faith can move mountains. His wife was paralyzed,totally, and was bedridden for nearly 15 years. He took care of her,and their little daughter, without complaint. Even when we'd go to see them,he'd ensure that no-one felt sorry for them,instead, he'd converse in as lively a manner as anyone could, and, including his wife in all his talks. By God's grace and his efforts, his wife finally began to walk-small steps,bigger steps...and,now is nearly normal- a case most doctors had given up. Even here, I think of this gentleman,I wonder why we,who are blessed to have our whole body functioning normally, continue to crib,crib and crib about everything-if nothing else, then we crib about the heat of the sun. grin... But I am sure being an Indian you knew very well that these kinda 'news features' are rare in west and not in India. Since childhood we have heard of Shri Ram & Sita, Dharitrashtra & Gandhari, Satyawan & Savitri, in later period Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba (there are countless others I am sure). These are few names to count here. Above all we don't have to go far as we can see our own parents and grand parents. It is an interesting news Alka and a fine thought.
