There are some environmentalist that question the materials used in nearly waterless washing machines like this from Zeros. But if this gets approved and it becomes massively produced for domestic use, it is a huge help to us users not only because it is energy and water efficient but also because it does not easily accumulate in molds and mildew. This might just be the next big thing after front loaders.

That’s one of the most amazing inventions I’ve heard about-would love to know what makes it tick,err,clean with minimal water…maybe a vaccuum system,I think,in some way, besides the plastic beads.
