Wasnt the mention of the MNS workers or “Raj Thackrey,s Wife” this case, regionalist by Amitabh Bachhan. I am in no favour of the region based politics carried out by MNS.
But what bothers me is the hypocrisy on the part of Amitabh Bachhan. If he says that Raj Thackrey is trying to get political milage out of this incident, then so is Amitabh Bachhan and he is no different.
If the MNS workers were covering while the NSG commandoes were carrying out the operation, i suppose Amitabh Bachhan was leading the operation from the front !!

I agree 100%. And definitely the change should come from our side. HOBO, I have written mail to you. Tanmoy, if you see, we the middle class have already started the process. Record no of voter turnouts in all the state assembly elections. People have started the campaign to go our and vote. And some news channels are educating people the you can reject a candidate too. We can vote negatively too. And Kerela Chief Minister has apologized to Major Sandeep's family seeing the All India protest and rallies. Leaders were not coming out of their dens to face the public. HELL! They were not even speaking on TV. And as the blue blooded secularists and channels were skeptical about backlash, see nothing of that sort happened. The Muslim law board refused to give land for the burial of terrorists. In "we the people" people were thinking of not paying taxes to the government. In many blogs where people were hurling choicest abuses on North Indian and South Indian are talking about truce and Indian spirit. I know one particular blog which have more than 400 comments and maa bahen ki galiyan by southies to northies and vice versa are talking sense. So its not that people and we are not doing anything. Changes are already visible. Praney I agree its not too late but just the beginning.

It is about time that we start concentrating what we can do next because now we have enough evidence to make us feel ashamed. This should not also become – see he did this, he did that and they should do this and that.

It is about us at the end of all this?

Did anyone of our lives change in one week? Did we start doing anything which is for our betterment.

We have to ask ourselves.

We try to differentiate in degrees. But things do not operate in that manner. When on opens the gate, then it is difficult to choose who enters. When we open the gates of violence, then it is difficult to choose what proportions it will take.

Individually, when we are aggressive or violent towards our family, neighbours or other people, we are creating an action which would have an escalating effect later.

My point is/was that if we really desire the change, it should begin with us, rather than expecting politicians to become competent or terrorists to become messengers of peace.

There are so many comments everywhere regarding the terrorists and incompetent politicians.

Is it not fair that we introspect once and see if the so called ‘common man’ is also to blame? Isnt it us who promote regionalism, casteism, undue aggressiveness and teach the next generation the same.

Why should we blame someone who just decides to take aggressiveness to the next level?

Its time to see how we behave as individuals with fellow human beings.
