So maybe this is a strategy. Or maybe he is voluntarily dropping that bit. What ever it is, the effort that he has taken to build such a successful blog needs to be appreciated. Of course I know that there are always people around who are strong enough to forgo a lot of 'good things' in life for the sake of their ideals, but I do not know too many bloggers like that - for the simple reason that I have found out that unless you are already some sort of superstar (like Shah Rukh Khan or David Beckham), tens of thousands of people do NOT visit your blog and click on ads every day - and unless they do, you do not earn anything remotely near $100K a year from AdSense! And if you are already a superstar, or even an anonymous but successful businessman making many tens of millions a year, giving up a measly $100K is no big deal. Let's not go gaga with our praises before we know all the facts. I shall reserve comment until I know how real this guy is.
